Anyway, Australia too has closed accepting any applications for skilled worker visas as of now.
So people have to wait till next year for Canada FSW programme to open, Only if it opens

Dear Cancalling

While many pages are filled up with over repeated congrats or condolences for each and every PER/AOR/MR and rejections, we were discussing how Canadian EOI system would look, and therefore we were referring to the SkillSelect program which has been in place in Australia since July 2012.

We thought it would help those friends whose applications were returned/rejected or those who are in fear to reach the cap.

Although this argument is irrelevant to the subject of this forum to some extents, and so it might have filled up a page or two, I did not like the way you tried to terminate the discussion >:(

Best regards

thanks Luqi!!! we are so stressed!!!!

your stress will be relieved today.

So accordingly when the next update comes from CIC, on NOC Status, we should be prepared to see 2147 at 300 (Cap reached)

Mobeepk: My husband has applied again for 0211 and we're the last one in sheet. Can you explain how you calculated it.

Using simple proportional relationship i.e. for example against a certain NOC if there are X applicants in spreadsheet as on today and Y applicants as per CIC record then what will be the number of applicants in spreadsheet when there will be 300 CAP reached on CIC. This is just a guess like everybody is guessing here and this guess also depends upon the fact that whether applicants kept on adding information in excel sheet in the comining months as well e.g. very few applicants in spreadsheet for aug for this NOC 0211.

Hey,
There are few ways, But I guess the one that is suitable is to inform visa officers / visa office on the expected delivery of your baby, may be via CSE. Then wait for an answer. It'll cut down re-medicals and stuff. Because, if you apply after getting visa, they'll call your passports again and will take more time.

Hi there,

I think it might be best to continue with what you are doing.
Don't stop your MR process, complete the process and when you get your visa, travel to Canada and do all the necessary landing process and get the medical insurance. It might be worth considering having your baby in Canada so he or she will authomatically get Canadian citizenship status by virtue of birth.

Good luck with everything.

I dont think you will have any problems. 0211 Is just about 200. So you should easily scrapthrough.
I am out, as by July end itself, 0211 will be full. I am 29th Aug applicant.
