I am a little worried at this time. Hope you can understand.

Points calculated: 68
Degree: Masters of software engineering
Main Applicant Ielts: yes (6.5)
Spouse Ielts: yes (7)
Experience: 6 years
Application received: 16th May
Application returned: 3rd Sep
Reason: Old Schedule 3 form

Don't get worried. If its in ur fate, u will land in Canada.
Can u please tell me ur visa office?

I am totally confused just checked today did not notice till now
there is an updated form for generic application form IM0008ENU_2D which was updated in somewhere July 2013
I sent my application on 2nd July 2013 till that time there was no update only the april 2013 form was available
Also the date I mentioned in my application is 1st of july 2013
should I mail new completed form again to cic with cover letter?

Workout to check exact date of updation if your apps reached at CIC before that .... No need to send it again.

I think it was updated in mid july..

Hello Everyone,

I jus received a letter mentioning that we submitted an old form of Schedule 3 Economic Classes-Federal Skilled Workers. My husband applied for 0211. Now guys plz help..should we only fill a new form and send back all the documents as they were or we need to attach an updated bank statement and new forms. FYI every document we send has a small tick on it n this form has a cross and the details of CC we provided has a cross as our fee was not en cashed.

Don't think, act fast. Just fill the new form and new payment details form as you said it was crossed.
Once again act immediately without thinking much. You will not lose anything except a courier charges.

I agree...and even if you see timeline for 2011 applicants you will find many got PR with in a year.In 3142 category I personally know 4 persons who applied in feb/mar 2012 and got PR in December 2012..

Totally Agreed!!!Many many examples of expedited processing. A guy and his family in Abu Dhabi, UAE got it in 7 months!

I think you do not need to worry. As pointed out by vivesehg, the forms page was updated on 15 August 2013. Chill!!!!!!

Hi All Forumites... May I request you to update your profile on the forum as it starts showing up (on the left hand side of your post under your name) whenever a post is made and it becomes easy to refer to in case there is a discussion going on on NOC, PER, File received dates etc (which is the case most of the times)...

I know it shall take 5 minutes of time but will immensely benefit as every time referring to spreadsheet to look up details of a particular member in case he/she needs advice may not be practical for all .....

Even Basic info like...

1. NOC
2. Visa Office
3. App received date
4. PER received date

shall be enough..

Let me give steps on how to update for ease of all..

1. Go to profile section on top right of the forum
2. Go to "Forum Profile Information" under " Modify Profile" on the Left side panel
3. Scroll down and update Visa Office, NOC Code, App Filed (mention App filed date and PER date here if received)
4. Hit "Change Profile" to save

Advice: Leave everything else blank as it un-necessarily takes up page when you post something and everyone needs to scroll down to see next post (if you are browsing via smartphone or tablets).

My application has had a set back today. I'm an 8th August applicant and one day after I sent my application, I realised I'd sent copy ECA and not original. I sent follow up letter straight away but CIC just returned the letter and original document saying they can't identify my application. They also said not to send again unless I have a complete package. I feel so deflated today. I know some forum members had luck with follow up documents.

At the time, one person even said to wait 2-3 weeks to send so that my details will be on the database. I think they were right. I think my best chance now is to send again with new cover letter so hopefully they can now identify it before it is assessed and rejected for being incomplete. Any suggestions or advice please?

I have sent my application on july 22nd and it was rcvd in 30 july during that time the form was not updated so I am just worried about this updates

Other option is, if you are using WES then you can add an option of showing ECA Result online to CIC and can also send and original Report to CIC
