Hello All...back after being away 3 days for business....what did I miss???????

Month of the year to Month of the year

For eg ,if you work from june to november in perticular year then they wont count it as 1 year , its 5 months for that year and for another year if it is january to october then 10 months so total would be 15 months in this two year , likewise they will count for your entire work period

How is your points of this time? Do they still count work experience on the basis of year rather than month?

As it has happened to me with my previous application,

Hassan ,
I was not calculating the points,
I merely said that they will leave out the months. ( they will only consider amount of year)
Coz in 2011 they had omitted my months and only considered the years in total

for example.
I had experience of 3 years and 7 months, they only considered 3 years. ( forget abt NOC or skills level not going that deep)
next job i had experience of 2 years 5 months so they only considered 2 years
and only awarded me points for total of 5 years.
That was how the excel file stated with my rejection letter.

Prince: then its really bad for those who had have experience in this way ! They should consider all experience but whts wrong with them else they should round off the experience if it comes in range of 2 to 3 years to higher one.

Brother,
Let him do the calculation. He is getting 13 points. ( Here I have assumed all is in NOC and Skill level)

Of course we have to allow him to do the calculation. But he has asked our help and assistance to help him do the calculation!!!!!!!! :)

Hi Prince. Appreciate your experience and advise. But it is evident from the current FSWP 2013 that they are considering MONTHS as well. This is evident from the points being alloted for work experience:

1 year - 9 points
2-3 years - 11 points
4-5 years - 13 points
6 years and above - 15 points

BlueMav,

I have never put any bar code on the top. The way I got it from the printer , i submitted it using a paper clip. so it was page 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 .Never changed any sequence, took it from the printer and just sent it the way i got it.
BUT ITS ONLY MY EXPERIENCE, PLEASE ASK MORE SENIOR PEOPLE IF UNSURE. DOES NOT MEAN IF I GOT THROUGH YOURS WILL ALSO. SO PLEASE DO AS WHAT U THINK IS BEST FOR YOU.

Hi BlueMav

It is very clearly mentioned here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eca:

"........Place the barcode page(s) on the top of your application (forms and supporting documents) when you submit it."

All these small things ensure the convenience that we are able to provide to the CIO officer to help process our application faster. Imagine an officer who has to sift through hundreds of applications per day!!!! I am sure they scan the barcode pages of the form through a barcode scanner to load the information on the forms into a computer system. Providing the barcode page on top (and as SPECIFIED and REQUIRED by the FSWP 2013 official guide), ensures that he/she can immediately load our information into the system without having to search the barcode page through our huge pile of papers and thinking that we should have placed it on top since they had required us to do so.

+1 to you hassanwiz17

Hi!
I have a query regarding BC as i noticed few ppl discussing abt thr application.i have submited my BC with my application but i am now scared as it is old but i have also attached my secondary board xerox copy with a notary on tht. Do u think it is fine or is it something to worry abt? ???

Checked detailed PM

Congrats every one for securing PER ;D
Just a calculation abt application caps from my point of view. If there are 4nocs that are gonna t filled completely out of 24 nocs.
5000-1200=3800
3800/20= 190 applications for individual noc.
