Freeze on processing Work Permit Application - please share your experience

Hi,

I've been informed that there's a freeze on processing work permit applications for approved Ontario Provincial Nominees. Seems like it is due to fraud/integrity checks.

Can anyone who are Ontario Provincial Nominees share their experience of receiving a work permit recently or are still waiting?

If anyone has suggestions on an alternative procedure I can take, please let me know as I have been waiting and waiting....

When you say recently they've stopped processing work permit for Ontario - Can you be specific from when?

My wife got her work permit approved in the month of August 2014(Applied in May 2014).

When did you submit your work permit application?

Hi Krubzee,

I am referring to applications for work permit for Ontario PNP candidates. Understand the freeze has been for the past 3 - 4 months. Is your wife an Ontario PNP approved candidate? If not, what work permit did she apply under? That's great news for your wife though! I am still waiting. Please let me know...
