I applied For an ETA last June 13, 2026. I am a former PR and was requested to provide a copy of my passport and usa visa.

I provided. It was read and received by the officer

But until now I have not received any response. My kids below 12 are waiting for me and are in distress. I tried sending a webform to no avail. I don't know what else to do.

Please help.

What do you mean by your children under 12 being in distress and waiting for you? I assume they are with someone in Canada and not alone. Not sure what their status is. You must also have a plan B just in case you are denied entry if you aren’t able to enter Canada if you are a visitor.

My kids are Canadian citizen and with my husband who is pr as well. We have been separated for almost a year as I have waited for prtd

How did you apply for an ETA if you are waiting for a PRTD? Have you renounced your PR status?

Prtd was refused and I was deemed foreign national.

I have a b1b2 from us and I applied for ETA as I am Philippines citizen.

All you can do is wait. The fact that you have Canadian children may make it difficult for you to visit Canada out concern that you will not return home. Even if you receive the ETA you should have strong proof of your ties to the Philippines and return ticket.

Lack of funds

You may not have the choice but to apply for sponsorship before trying to visit Canada. Without the sponsorship in process your family ties are very strong to Canada and I assume are much less to the Philippines which could be a problem for both the ETA and for entry after you land. Is your spouse on welfare? How did you lose your PR but your family is in Canada? You should be able to apply for sponsorship without paying for a consultant or lawyer. Is it the fees that are the roadblock? Flying to Canada is expensive and I would assess whether those funds should go to sponsorship application first. You won’t be able to visit Canada indefinitely if you are able to enter as a visitor and haven’t applied for sponsorship.

Husband is not on welfare. It took him 6 months to get a job because of time constraints and kids situation.

Pr got lost because I was careless, I worked for a Canadian business remotely decided to come to home and when I reapplied ircc said my remote work is not counted. So I lost pr

How much time did you spend out of Canada? How and when did you get PR?
