Hi all,

Canadian citizen sponsoring her British husband. We live in the UK and are looking to come back to Canada. I just had a question about the co-signer.

I am confused as to who this person is (myself or my husband).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Neither. You can’t have a co-signer if you are sponsoring your spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner.

There is absolutely no point in having a co-signer for a dependant child application, where there is no Minimum Necessary Income requirement.
