Hello,

I couldn't find this on forum so I'd like to ask a few questions in hope there are people here who went through EE process and know the answers.

How is FOREIGN skilled work experience for EE being proven?

Does the foreign skilled work experience have to be related to canadian skilled experience? Does a difference in occupations play a role in the whole process/final decision? For example, if a person worked as a civil engineer in his home country but is now working in dry wall here in Canada. These are both skilled occupations, but in different fields.

Thank you!

Abroad and Canada work experience are proved with companies reference letter.

Foreign experince have to meet some requirements, depending on wich class you're applying for (CEC, FSW, FST...)

As far you met the requirements doesn't matter if your foreign and Canada Experience are in different areas.

I only know the CEC program, where foreign experience is not considered at all, however you'll get some points in the EE Profile depending on the skill level.
