hi,

I'm preparing my documents to apply for my pr via cec soon. Back home I worked as a nurse and as a research assistant which will not match the noc code that I'm currently working with here in Canada. So I wonder if I need work letters from my previous jobs back home even if they don't match my noc code. I mean I need to mention them in the 10years personal history document.

I tried to gather information but can't find a source for it.

Thank you. M.

If you want to claim points for your previous jobs, then you have to obtain reference letters.
If not, then just mention them in personal history section, no need to submit any documents.

.

No, the NOC codes for foreign work experience do not have to match your current NOC code.
