I'm applying under CEC and I'm using foreign work experience from a different job I had to gain extra points (i need these extra points) as this job is also NOC type B. The issue is the law firm I worked at back then (i left 5 years ago) no longer exists. the owner of the law firm, however, was my auntie so I'm able to get some documents. my question is what documents do I need to prove the company existed and to prove I worked there? also regarding the employment certificate, I have a word document with the company letterhead (this has old details i.e. phone numbers etc), do I write it up as normal and get my auntie to sign it as it was her business at the time? then explain everything in a cover letter?
