For ECA - what is the process for getting transcripts from university of madras

HI All,

I am trying to get my MCA certificate & marks sheet's transcript from university of Madras for ECA. I am currently in Canada and I do not have any one in Chennai, India now. I am relying on my relatives to get the transcripts.

While searching, I found the below url, which provides the basic information.

Here are my questions.

[a] Did anyone get the transcripts from madras university ?
How many days does it take to get the transcripts ?
[c] Which department in the university provides the transcripts or whom should we visit to get the transcripts ?
[c] I have my original certificate & mark sheets in Canada. I have a set in my home town which were attested by Gazetted Officer/government official. Can I use them for getting transcripts ? or do I need to get it notarized here and send them back home ?
