Regular mail and Ecas (does not explicitly mention FP, says some correspondence has been mailed out to you).

You had a 'due' date on yours? As long as you've had your prints taken and they are sent in then your results will be sent electronically. i can assure you that if you've done this they already know you've done it, whether the results have arrived or not

Contact the call centre at 1-888-242-2100.

Contact the fingerprinting agency to confirm if the fingerprint results have been sent to cic

I'm from a Commonwealth country and I have no charges or any kind of police history - my application should be standard - but I got a FP request.

Did u get test invite yet.

Not everyone is requested to provide FPs. Request can be sent anytime, even after the test.

i got mind after test although at interview i was told to wait for 4-6 weeks for oath.
i had 2 passport full of GCC stamps and visas so might be reason.

Hi,

I just left Canada yesterday for Asia for 5 weeks. I have just landed & my family told me CIC had sent me a fingerprints request & I have to do it within 30 days (the letter was sent on Jan 18, 2018). What can I do? Any advise? Can I call or email CIC to ask for postpone the fingerprints process? If so, anyone has its number for call from abroad? Or can I do it at Canada consulate?
