My PR card will expire next year. I will not have 730 days residence by then. Actually, only about 35. However, I understand that sometimes they still let you enter the country as a resident (without reporting you). Of course, then you have to stay continuously for at least 2 years.
Has the situation changed?
I'm planning to take the risk.
However, I thought of a serious problem. Can I realistically hope to find a job, if my card is expired?
Does anyone have experience of this problem? I do have a Canadian driver's license which is valid for another 3 or 4 years though.
