Business deal or an employment should not matter. Why bring in the distinction when a business owner is also an employee?
Let anyone phrase whatever they want, setting up a business or finding an employment should be set in motion based on a need, not trend.
It is not so simple because you are using the employment/business arrangement as a means to increase your CRS score. I am not sure what CIC's interpretation of such an arrangement will be.
@canuck78 do you know if CIC will give
@ravikiranr extra CRS points if his company provides services to Canadian companies/individuals? Will that be viewed as employment?
@ravikiranr here's a suggestion. Why don't you find a business partner in Canada. Setup a joint venture/company. Then have that company hire you as an employee? You could submit to CIC saying that you have found employment in Canada hence you should qualify for more CRS points.
I am not sure if this amounts to fraud though. But if you have formed a company and hired you to do housekeeping and you are doing work eg cleaning toilets and making beds I would think it is hard for CIC to say it is fraud. I am a doctor not a lawyer though.
Anyone else think it would be fraud or totally legal?
