Hello guys,

My program fee is 100,000 CAD ( Living + Fees - 2 years). To support me, my uncle and my aunt are ready to attach their ITR copies which amount to 120,000 CAD per year collectively for the last two years. I will also attach an affidavit for support. My own ITR amounts to 20000 CAD for last year, Should I attach that as well? Or just the ones of my uncle and aunt.

Right now, I am a full-time employee earning appx 60,000 CAD per year in India,so l will attach a salary certificate as well. I got this job last year so my current ITR would be for appx 60000CAD. I am confused about what all documents I should attach to make my application strong. I am applying via SDS and my uncle has already paid 75K as tuition. I would be bearing the remaining expenses on my own.

How do you use tax returns to pay for food and rent in Canada? ITR isn't documents that can prove your level of financial support.

I know, that's pretty obvious. Apart from decent bank balance - appx 60k CAD, what else can I show to prove my financial status? I do have 100L cad of liquid funds.

ITR is much better than bank balance. If you have a lot of money you do not keep it lying around in your bank account. Ask any financial expert, you think millionaires keep millions of dollars in liquid form? bank balance is the least reliable measure.

Same applies to the bank statement from the last 3 months to show that money is available and it is moving

How would the visa officer know you can take it out? Only if the money is liquid in a savings account and accessible by the applicant will be considered.

Can someone please answer the question?
ITR is just a kind of supporting document and it helps to show your ties with your home country which means that you are earning good and have a stable life in your home country .Better to show good bank balance in your account to convince VO.
