My reported income:
2016 - 58435 CAD
2017 - 90000 CAD
2018 - 90000 CAD
I am looking to sponsor my parents to Canada (mother, father) and looking for some assistance with the financial part. I understand that it requires 3 years of employment tax history.
We are a family of total 3 ( me, my wife, daughter) and if I sponsor my parents then the total family size becomes 5.
Based on
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1445&top=14
It looks like income requirements would be
2016 - $66,654
2017 - $67,400
2018 - $68,358
So I notice that I am unable to meet the 2016 requirements however in 2016 I was living alone here and I married in 2017 and my wife joined me in 2018. So technically for 2016 I should be considering the family size of 3 (me, my father, my mother) i.e. $48,404 and not $66,654, for 2017 it should be same and for 2018 it becomes 5 because my wife was included in my family and our baby was born in 2019.
Does this mean I have passed the financial qualification part?
