Filipino Nurses applying for Quebec

Pwede ka na mag apply for equivalency kahit ongoing pa ang application mo sa CSQ, u need to request the application kit sa OIIQ nandon ang list ng requirements, mas advice na gawin mo na ito before the interview para makita nila na aware ka sa RN don sa Quebec.

Done na po. Nag send po ako letter of intent ko. As for question number 8, and isinagot ko po ay: "Diploma or training recognized as equivalent by a Québec regulatory body (except medical degree)"

Yun ibang members po ba ano isinagot ninyo sa application nyo? No explanation po, pa specify lang po isinagot ninyo.

Ibig po sabihin 'NO' lahat ang sagot ko sa question no.8 sa application form? ganun din ba ginawa that time na nag submit ka ng application?

Dyan kasi ako di sure sa question no.8 kung ano sasagot ko, kaya nag iisip ako na mag hire ng consultant pero ang mahal sayang pera, sana matulungan mo po ako.

Filipino Registered Nurses has the liberty to choose "a foreign diploma recognized as equivalent by a Québec regulatory body, except if it is a medical diploma;" as indicated on Memoire Integration Immigrante.

Pwede nga rin and I think kahit naman ano pa ang sagot mo sa third question na yun it all just boils down to the 5th question. May permit ka ba to practice in Quebec o wala? So I guess sa mga magtatanong in the future you can answer yes for that third question. Ang iniisip ko naman kasi dati kaya sinagot ko na no kasi ang tanong doon "Do you have any diploma treated as an equivalent by a Quebec regulatory body?" so I answered no, kasi wala pa naman akong assessment o declaration ng OIIQ na equivalent ng BSN degree ko sa pinas yung nursing diploma ko dito (MICC says it's only equivalent to DEC) kaya NO ang sinagot ko. Either way I think doon lang sa 5th question talaga magkakaalaman. Kung may results ka na galing from OIIQ, which is a regulatory body in Quebec, then you can answer YES for that question and gain some extra points for it kahit man lang ba sa adaptation na

If ever yung mga employer mo ai ngchange Ng number sa office nila after you have submitted your documents sa visa office at yug number nila sa COE and reference mo ai Hindi nah active..kng mgbackground check nah ang VO at Hindi nila macontact ang employer mo,ano Gagawing nang VO?will they ask you to provide another number nang employEr mo?Will they email you about it?

I doubt it. It is our prime responsibility to inform them in case of any deviations in our file. I may advise you to inform the Immigration Office responsible to your file the soonest possible time or you may suffer the consequences of doing nothing. They might have your file marked with "MISREPRESENTATION" as to the incorrect or nonexistence of the information you had given them .

I am not to cause trouble with your thoughts, but it is indeed wiser for you to do your part and be responsible.

You have the liberty to email and inform their discretion as for the changes. Humbly express your intention to update your file as to the imminent changes that had occurred here:

Wait for their response in 5 days. They will inform you if they have had the information noted or their approval in case you still need to update them by post.
