Actually po, industry exposure po namin is towards financial services organizations, but more on Funds Audit. Are there any Filipinos po ba na nagkapagwork na po sa Big 4 audit firms jan? If so, do you know po ba if they accept resources na nakapag-work na sa kanilang PH-counterpart firms?

EE means express entry profile. That is ur starting point para makapagmigrate sa Canada. You can go to cic website if you want to know more about this.

1. The Greater Toronto Area is the financial capital of Canada and the third largest financial services centre in North America, you can also go for Ontario

2. As to the process, you can visit Chartered Professional Accountants Ontario website or AccountinginCanada.ca to know the process. Please note po na each province may have diff. Requirements

3. For addtl cert, you can try to obtain cert on bookkeeping, accounting technician, microsoft specialist and familiarise urself on some of the most common accountng software

If you are really determined to go there i wud advise you prioritise creating ur EE coz gathering the docs wud take some time.

Dalawa requirements nila for TOR.

Yung una galing sa school mo sa Pinas (school sending it directly to the Edmonton Office). I emailed my school and gave them the instructions and my sister na nasa Pinas went there to pay for the copy of the Transcript.

Yung pangalawa, assessment ng IQAS. I sent the old copy of my TOR and Diploma (Red Ribbon-Ito pa yung lumang copy ko na ginamit when I applied for a Visa here in Canada) to IQAS for assessment. IQAS will then send you your own copy of their assessment along with your TOR, and a separate one directly to CPA WSB in Edmonton.

When do you plan on doing it? I'll send you a private message.

I have been dreaming to work in Canada and visiting this informative forum since under grad.. now that I am already graduate and pass the board exam, I woukd like to know if Filipino accountants have a chance rate to be employed and work as an accountant in Canada? Or it will be ended as other job description for us waiting in Canada?

I am currently employed in a small accounting firm in philippines for 1 year. Does it really have a big factor when you work in one of the 4 big firms in philippines?

nag register ako sa CPAWSB and nagpa assess sa WES. after masubmit result ko, hinihingan pa ko ng:

5. Letter of Good Standing - For applicants who have a designation from an organization that is a member body of the International Federation of Accountants (www.ifac.org), the following are required:
a. Letter of good standing from your accounting body mailed directly to the CPAWSB.
b. Transcript from your accounting body mailed directly to the CPAWSB. (Not applicable to designates from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan)
c. Resume detailing employment history and job responsibilities

anybody who has any idea about this? is this PICPA? can anybody confirm: kapag may PRC license ka as accountant, automatic member ka ng PICPA? tagal na kasi expired PRC license ko, kasi nagwork ako sa dubai for 7 years and hindi ko naman nagamit ang CPA title ko duon.

Yup, letter of good standing from picpa sa main office sa manila ka kukua dpat updated ung payment mo as member. Hindi ko lng alam kung automatic member ka, kasi sa kaso ko nagpamember ako sa local chapter ng picpa kung saang province ako

Hindi na ako nagpa WES sa akin sinubmit ko nlang ung TOR ko at letter pf good standing saka ibang requiremnts tinanggap nman nila nka enroll na ako ngaun sa module
