Actually Pasi, I was reading a few other posts and my understanding is that their credit card payment system is not fully functional yet and hence for credit card applicants the timeline is probably 3 months (unconfirmed). However, looks like they plan to make that system running by the end of this month, so hopefully that will sort things out.

What is your NOC, and local visa office, by the way?

Sorry Pasi, saw your signature just now. Never mind replying to my question

garian4u, Thanks for your reply. i am actually fine with them taking 3 months to send my AOR. in that way, i will have some more time to submit my next set of docs. beginning of 2010, i have to travel outside US for my US visa renewal and other personal things. so i was bit worried about collecting the second set of docs and my IELTS as well. if it takes 3 months, i ll have enough time for my 120 day timeline which will really help me..

Thanks Pasi.

Guys, there's an eerie silence in the forum today. Is there no one from the 3rd or 4th week of September applicants who got an AOR today? Guess tomorrow we can get to hear some sweet news.

Hi yesIcan,
Same here, i really got stressed out and called them (CIC callcenter) yesterday. They said "its in process and nothing to be woried, wait until 27th". If not they said to give them a call. You may be right, cashing from the credit card is slowing our application i guess... Somewhere in the forum, it took 3 month for a person. I think we might se some positive signs during this week. We wil pray for the best...

Thanks for a ray of hope. keep us posted as they make some progress

This thread is very helpful for all sept. applicants . Best of luck . To sum up we can say all sept applicants would recieve their AOR upto 10th of dec. 2009. We should contact CIC if not recieve our AOR untill 10 dec. Best of luck for all.

Guys, looking at this forum's statistics, it can be safely assumed that CIO had picked up at least 18th Sep cases (non-credit card). Any 19, 20 or 21 Sep cases? Please keep updating. Kills our anxiety a bit. Otherwise the vacillation and oscillation is so much that the lull period makes me nervous.

Pasi, you can still take the IELTS, those scores are valid till 1 year. Regarding India visit, is there no way that you can get an extension of your visa without leaving the country? Why take the risk of leaving US while you still are awaiting CIO reply?

Missioncanada, can you update your details in your signature?

garian4u - I need to go back to my homeland due to some personal work as well. I thought about getting visa extn from here, but later decided that it would not be a problem. Now that I have decided to go out, I am in the process of collecting all the docs for the next level. IELTS is the only one pending, which I am planning in Dec 1st week. So wherever I am, I ll make sure my docs reach the Buffalo visa office within 120 days of my AOR.
