Fee Payment and Other sponsorship questions Application almost complete

Hello everyone.. this forum helped me a lot with my PR now its time to apply for my wife, i recently got married on OCT 25th and my application is almost all complete i just need your help everyone....

my wife is in India and New delhi office will be the processing office for the visa. I will be submitting the application at the mississauga office.

Question-1
Re: option c print out, i already got the document do i still need to provide my pay stubs? ( i make about $55,000 a year , i am under the impression i don't have to but just wanna double check.)

Sponsorship application (per application) 1 $75.00 $75.00
Principal applicant 1 $475.00 $475.00
Right of Permanent Residence Fee 1 $490.00 $490.00
Total amount for all applications: $1,040.00


so am i doing it right or do i need to add any other options? there is no one on that applicatione xcept my wife.


Question-3 In IM5481 Question 3 where it asks for your net income (which i believe is my take home after taxes) what dates do i put??? should i put the last tax year or like from last november to this november???

Also me and my wife mainly talk over the phone (calling cards no records) we do facetime (no record) but we do have all our whatsapp history saved its about 100 pages...does anyone know where i can get that printed...i have it in my email..


will that be good enough to show communication ??along with a lot of pics of our dates and all the ceremonies.

As long as you are sending the option c there is no requirement to send paystubs, but in my application i added they paystubs to make my application much stronger. Paystubs is required for those who need to proof their financial income. Sponsorships with no depedant children is excempted from such requirement and you don't need to be employed.
At least paystubs can show that you are someone who can make an income.

The fee is correct if you are only sponsoring your wife with no dependants.

the dates is the last 12 months preceding the date of your application. and not the last taxt year

I don't know where you can print this, may be you can try your home printer if you have one or try to go your closest printing centre.

Yes that would be good as long as it shows a continues relationship from the start until the end.

For the photos you cane make a caption at the bottom of each photo, describing the date, location and the names and
I used this software http://download.cnet.com/Photo-Caption-Creator/3000-12511_4-75949996.html to create captions for the photos and then printed the photo and caption on a 5x7 inch photo paper

When in any doubt, over deliver on the evidence rather than under deliver. It's a long wait in the processing visa office; you want to give immigration Canada your true intention.

Get your employer to write you a letter of employment with all the require points. How much you make? How long you have been with the company? , your work title, ...etc. Include your pay stubs, any pension plans you have ( rrsp,tfsa...etc.) will only helps your case. Leave nothing to guess work as it will only leads to delay in your application.

You are not the only one. I was confused on this one as well, but don't worried on the overpayment. They will return it to you. They return $75 to me because I over paid. Apparently, they didn't need me to pay this part. “Sponsorship application (per application) 1 $75.00 $75.00”.

You want to put together some sort of timeline of how your relationship was developed. Again, the more evidence that you have the better it is for your case. You want good quality evidence, not just anything. The point is that you are being judge. You better show something worth while to prove your case.

1. No you dont have to, but it doesnt hurt!!

Also, for your followup questions:
You can submit phone bills and if your bill shows details of calls made, highlight the calls to your wife. Print the whatsapp records as emails or documents. My wife and I use viber, so i just copy and pasted the entire thing into word, reduced the font, removed white spaces, edited the page margins and printed them out. i deleted a whole bunch to keep it to like 20 pages or 30 pages i think. they are not going to read your messages, but they might look at it, so leave the date stamps in the conversations.

The name and address you need to write on the fee payment form is who to refund the money to if a refund becomes necessary for any reason. Normally, that would be whoever paid the fee.

Since it's going through the post office, I think that the P.O. Box is the appropriate address for Xpresspost.
