My journey finally ended this morning with receiving my Canadian citizenship certificate. So, I would like to declare that I’m officially a proud Canadian citizen now.

I would also like to thank everyone who helped me on this journey and wish all applicants luck on their own journey. I hope applicants who are waiting for an update in their application tracker hear good news soon.

I’m not sure if anyone is still updating the sheet. In case the admin still does it, here is my timeline:

Application delivered by mail: February 9, 2021
AOR: April 13, 2021
Fingerprint required: September 15, 2021
Fingerprint received: October 28, 2021
Background verification status updated to completed: October 29, 2021
Scheduled for citizenship test: April 17, 2022
Citizenship test updated to completed: May 6th, 2022
Language skills, Physical presence, and Prohibitions updated to completed: August 2nd, 2022
Decision made in the old tracker: August 4th, 2022
Oath: August 29th, 2022
