If i use purolator, i should address it to courier address
If i use Canada Post Express, i should address it to regular mail address

The most reasonable answer I've heard is -

Use courier address if it is something that requires a signature/acknowledgement.
Use regular mail address if it is something that doesn't need a signature/acknowledgement.

Canada Post/ Non-Canada Post has got nothing to do with it.
