I had my AOR on 7th February, but need letters to get PCCs from two countries. Is anyone able to shed light on when I could expect to receive the letters, and whether it will happen before the medicals are passed? Also is anyone else in the same boat?

From what I read here, it comes right after you pass your medicals and they give you 60 days. I am on the same boat for one country

I sent a POF document through CSE webform yesterday (12th Feb) and have received a reply from CIC agent that the document has been forwarded for consideration. Does this mean that the document has been 'attached' to my application and will be considered before R10? If not will there be a similar notification mail when it is attached? Also, how much time does it typically take? My worry is that if the R10 starts before the document is attached then it might be problematic.

I searched the other CSE related forums but couldn't find a response. Please point to appropriate forum if already answered elsewhere. Thanks!

I received my AOR on Feb 8. If I understand correctly, it's only at stage IP2 when background check changes to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.". But for me, it shows this message already. Medical exam isn't passed yet. Can anyone guess why it could be so, or am I misunderstanding something?

Hey!

No that's the default status. I had it right from the moment I got my AOR

It is weird that my Background Status has been “ Not Applicable “ since AoR.

At which stage/s would the documents provided during application submission be verified? Is it depending on each stage, for example Medical Certificate during Medical verification and PCC during background checking? Or is there like a preliminary stage which checks that at least the basic documents along with translations are all in place?

Thanks a lot for the reply, adding the info that it takes 4-6 weeks to get past the medicals I can conclude that I can dump the fun task of getting tothe remaining PCCs to my future self in mid/late March :)

Same boat as you .. Except my issue was missing uploading visa stamps and markings on my current and previous passport. I received a reply after two days of raising CSE and got the same reply as you did. I did however include my application number in the online webform as well as in the inquiry box itself so it would be clear where to attach these documents.

From what I understood, R10 check is usually held at CIC Ottawa and then A11 and A12 can be sent to CPC or even directly handled by LVO. Tbh, it won't matter which office does it as long as they can see these new attachments. I hope they can see it for both you and me.

All the best.

Regards,,,,
