Hi All
I need some help on below matter...

I had contacted my MP to look into my case file and apparently I have passed criminality verifications as well as security verifications (it notes currently valid)
however they says my immigration verifications have not yet been initiated.

Does anyone know what does it mean? / How long once initiated is that process going to take?

Welp, today I got the invitation to take the oath. March 20th at 1pm. What's really making me emotional is that 14 years ago, at the spry young age of 14, I stepped off of a plane in Detroit to come to London to see where I would be moving to. On that day, March 20th 2005, I took my first step in Canada- and felt at home. 14 years later, at the age of 28- exactly half my life so far- I will become a citizen and cement my feeling of being home. Now it's time to get emotional and drink maple syrup by the gallon.

Edit: Apparently I can't edit the spreadsheet anymore, so someone has to update it for me.

After going through the journey of obtaining PR then waiting on citizenship, I finally became a Canadian today!! Took the oath at the Mississauga office. Ceremony was well planned and organized. Lasted just over an hour and then almost everyone stayed back to take pictures with the Judge. For those still waiting for test invites or oath ceremony invitations, hang in there and best of luck. Hope you hear from CIC soon.

Finally became a Canadian citizen yesterday! It was a very emotional moment. The presiding judge mentioned there were 125 applicants from 38 countries that were taking their oaths together. 9 years in the making and a 13 month application timeline later, the day finally came!

For those that are waiting, good luck, and hang in there! I am not the most patient person either so this wait was hard.

Here's my timeline: Toronto applicant

Application received: Feb 9, 2018
AOR: Mar 12
Application in process: May 8
Fingerprint Request: Aug 22
Test Invite: Feb 4, 2019
Test taken: Feb 16
ECAS decision made: Feb 18
Oath invite: Feb 20
Oath ceremony: Mar 7
ECAS status changed to Complete: Mar 8

Thanks all for your support!
