dude, you never know what they are gonna ask, the safest is to get Passport Request and after it is all good

sorry bro..i would partially disagree.. ..there are many Ontario PNP applicants here, who got doc request after PPR, where they were returned passport without visa from CIC and asked to produce more documents.

Anybody know, what if you are PNP holder and your current "3 years Open Work Permit" is near to expire but your PR application is still in process with CIC under PNP category.
What would be the duration (in terms of years) and condition (in terms of open/close) for your new extended work permit ?

Same question in case the applicant is not a PNP holder but in process for PR (within Canada) with CIC in "Canadian Experience Class-CEC" category ?

if you applied for the PR (to CIC) and received AOR/File number then you are eligible for Open Bridge work permit.
It will be open work permit-can work for any employer th eonly diff between applying under PNP and CEC is for PNP there would be a condition on your WP that you are only allowed to work in Province (who approved your PNP) in case of CEC, there is no condition for work location. you can get min 1 year and max 2 year WP. My guess as long as your PR application is in process you will get the WP.

I recently applied and received 2 year (under PNP stream). Hope this helps,good luck.

yes you can apply for BOWP now

you can check the website and shows the qualifications for BOWP http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2012-12-17.asp

Have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within 4 months;

you cannot work with 2 employers unless you are PR or open work permit dependent but if you are the main principal you can't and once you have been caught you will be assisted directly to airport by the immigration officers on the day you are caught

Hi, all.

I have some questions.

I got a passport request not a original but scan one on 14-AUG-2014 by CPC-CTD-OTTAWA.

Also, right next day they ask me what did i do during 01-JAN-2014 to Current.

So, i write it down and send it to them.

There is a ppl who saying that they got a decesion made and no passport request.

I am the one odd? or i misunderstanding something.

did they really take 2 weeks to update your IP?
