Did any of you here hear about the new bill called Bill C-24?

I would post some articles I've found online here but it won't let me. If you try searching the "Bill C-24" there are a lot of articles talking about it online.
But basically, it will make becoming a Canadian citizen harder and easier to lose it. Also, there will be two separate groups of Canadian citizens.
It sounds pretty scary to me and I really don't want this bill to pass and become the new law.

If you search change.org, you can find their petition to stop this from happening.
Help me spread the word and sign a petition to stop this bill from becoming the new law.

Hello I have applied for CEC in February. I need to confirm on form 5662 on Sec 2. List all your trips for last 10 years, In the length column I have mentioned my trips in the months. Does this have any chances of asking by CIC to submit this in days.

It can be in Days and months both. Say you visit USA for 5 days then you cant put it describe it in Month. But if you visit USA for 2 months then you have to describe it in Months not days. Don't worry about anything now. If CIC need it they will ask you for updated one.

Got my GCMS notes last week. Nothing has started yet but criminality. Got RCMP fingerprints request last month. Also, noticed the additional supporting docs I emailed them in March was also added in my file.

Well, i never included any fingerprints with my application (procrastination at its best), so i'm definitely expecting a delay when they ask me for the fingerprints. They're still in process with the FBI.

Hi my spouse has got the permanent job offer in one of the company and I am the principle applicant. Do we need to intimate the CIC regarding the permanent offer of the spouse and send the employment letter.

Yes, and that's not going to change. I received GCMS notes created a couple of days before
my application has been approved and only criminality was in process at that time

Hi Fellow Applicants.. I have a bit of a scary situation.. Could anyone please provide your comments/inputs.
My 1st Work Permit NOC is 2173 (Embedded Sys Software Designer) and was issued for the period 27th Feb 2011 to 27th Feb 2012.
My 2nd Work permit NOC is 2171 (Comp Analysts and Consultants) and was issued for the period 06 Jan 2012 to 27 Feb 2014. God knows why the NOC was changed
I worked in Canada for the period Feb 27th 2011 to Apr 30, 2012 and returned to India. I have applied under CEC on Feb 19, 2014 under NOC 2173. My employer letter also contains the duties related to 2173.
Do you think this could be a problem ?
