This summer has been hot in Finland... surprise because I'm not there! Last summer I was there and it was barely +20C and rainy almost every day LOL.
There might be some peaks every summer when it gets closer to +30C there, but normally it's near +20C's.
We had wedding celebration few weeks ago a bit north from Toronto and it was over +40C I almost got a heat stroke in my dress I've never actually had a slurpee.. I always go for ice coffee or ice cream!

Ya that would give you a heat stroke almost lol! Oh wow really? Slurpees are so good, but Tim Hortons iced Capps aren't so bad either another thing I love about Canada. Timmies!!! So good

Hey I was just wondering how long it will take To get PPR after ecas has changed to "in process"? It's been 2 weeks now without any contact and I'm getting nervous! If they need more information/something is missing are they going to request it before PPR? What about interview request? Sorry billion questions

Hi, i went through sydney also..double check your email a load of times, i almost missed my PPR email. It never came up on my cell phone and its a time sensitive email. They will send the PPR and ask for all documents you may have missed (if there is even anything you missed) & if there is need for an interview in the same email so dont worry about that.

I'm just wondering.. Is it normal for the GCMS notes to be late by 4 days...if at all? It's my first time ordering them an I should have received them several days ago but there is still no sign of them.

I'm wondering what might be holding them back.

Our application was recieved Feb1, 2013, I was approved later that month and now the VO has been holding my wife's passport since late March. I don't know what they could have possibly been doing with my wife's passport over the past four months.
I wrote my MP in early July and a week later, my ecas was updated to "in process" on July 16th. The office wait time in Beijing for a complete case is 7-9 months.

Does anyone know how many cases an officer works on at a time???

p.s. My wife noticed on a Chinese job search website that the embassy is looking for Chinese locals to process visas. The secret agenda is not so secret anymore, Mr. Harper.

Hi. Really don't know why they have your passport for so much time. I though NDVO was the only one that requested passports from the start of the process. Your e-cas shows "In Process" so on one hand this is promising.
While Beijing is only 7-9 months it looks like that your apps are almost finalized.
Be patient my friend as after all the embassies are in a turmoil due to the strike and to continue processing apps even after all these you are extremely lucky.
Our VO in Vienna although not taking part in strikes has not processed anyone yet from 2013.
BTW. If you want we may add you to our spreadsheet for Feb applicants so you and others may keep track of the visa processing.

From what I gather they are asking you to send them an official record-proof of your divorce if you were married previously!

mrsalvaro told me that she will guide you through it so speak to her. Applicants should leave a request in the August thread by giving you the following info

USERNAME :
Visa Office :
Medicals Done :
Application Sent Date App :
CPC-M received as per tracking :
Stage 1 AOR :
Sponsorship Approval :
AOR from Visa Office :

Just monitor the new people who would leave a message and ask them to give you the above info. This will give you time to do something useful, help other people and fill your empty time while waiting for your visa.
