Hello everyone! i am glad to say that I got my sponsorship approval. Well, I didn't receive any letters or emails or whatsoever but my ecas changed from "application receive" to "decision made". It also says there that they sent the letter last april 2 re the decision. I texted Iay right away. haha

So I just spoke with an agent and he did confirm that I got approved as a sponsor. However I don't know when is the exact date of my SA, so I have to wait for the snail mail.

sis Iay! Another answered prayer. Thank God. Sana mabilis na processing sa Manila VO. Napansin ko na August nagmedical si hubby mo, so most likely PPR na agad sya by June-July! You're in my prayers always remember that.

Messenger sir! I have a question. So am i still supposed to get an AoR from Manila VO? Then hopefully PPR? Submission of application, SA, then the applicants documents will be forwarded to the corresponding VO, and then what's next?

I truly don't know what your status is now as you have not submitted any info to the spreadsheet so far.
So here it goes as far the stages are concerned

Stage 1. Mississauga
AOR
SA

8) 8) At this point your files are in the belly of an Postal aircraft (most likely in a diplomatic sac) travelling to your VO 8) 8)

Stage 2. Your VO
AOR
PPR (in case your VO requests passport in the beginning)
Nothing else if you are lucky for a little while....
COPR (An email that you are about to receive your Certificate Of Permanent Residence)
Landing in Canada

There could be a million things in between VO AOR to actually getting your COPR but no one wants to think about those ;D

I'm pretty sure they just change the applicant's address to Canadian address when a decision has been already made. And I see on your timeline that your ECAS went to IN-PROCESS already in March.

So, I would say, this is a positive news. I think you are one of the lucky ones who would get the VISA earlier than the expected processing times- prolly one of the 10% to finish.

I'm going through paris as well but still haven't heard anything hopefully they keep up the fast processing times
