GCMS notes just came in, and details are as follows:

Date requested: October 17
Date generated: November 11
Date received: November 18

NOTHING has changed or started... AAAAAAAAH!!!!! Literally feel like screaming right now. Notes are 242 days from AOR and 9.5 months in. No comments from VO to indicate anything. I dont even know why I bothered.

Got gcms .

Eligibility - passed
Criminality - passed
Security - blank (there is no value in that column)
Medical - in progress

Don't know the scoop about security. Hope everything will be set passed soon :)

That sucks....at least the notes are being generated closer to the 30 day mark.

wait you have nothing written at all in the notes ?

Nope. Sad, isnt it. :'(

Only notes made were about the additional documents I sent after AOR....so, my T4, NOA and update of address/employment. Thats it.

True that. Still doesnt help though!

I even filled out their survey ... haha, yea, that desperate ... wrote in the ATIP comments sections they should generate closer to delivery date, as people would be able to see the most up to date info on their case, which may decrease the perpetual need for reports. Probably no one who reads that sh*t, but delusions are the only thing keeping me sane right now. ;D

man im still unsure of either sending an updated job letter or wait for the GCMS....

Obviously none of us can tell you what to do....but my personal opinion is to wait until the VO notes a concern. If they dont, then theres really no need to complicate things. And considering how slooooow things are moving, you will have time to correct it, even if it is brought up. Just keep ordering GCMS and you will see their assessment.

Dont forget, this letter of yours can be sent by email...so, you save on time. And its quickly added to the file. I've done it multiple times now and it took them about 1 week each time.

i think the letter is fine, but im just panicking over every single paper i sent now...lol

Hi CEC2013,

I am expecting to receive GCMS notes by 2nd week of December. If I don't see any updates or VO comments I guess it's safe to assume that we'll get some updates only by Jan due to winter holidays. What do you think?

Agreed. Thats a pretty fair assessment... I also ordered another set, since I need to know. The new notes should be in mid DEC.

Based on some timelines I calculated myself, its currently taking around 270 days (9 months) after AOR (1 month ish) to receive MR (10 months). Thats an average. I'm currently sitting at 250...so, the expectation is 3 more weeks for something tangible.

**Note that every case if different, so this may not apply to everyone.

Keep us posted on the notes. I'll update as well when I get them. :)

Great! I hope your calculations correspond to the actual timelines for MR for most FEB applicants. I will post the GCMS notes results once I receive them.
