hello

i am applying for bridge open work permit tomorrow. Can you pls confirm if i need a letter from employer showing my wages etc or AOR is sufficient? Any help is appreciated? pls advise if anything else is needed

You just need your AOR which is a confirmation that you've applied for your PR.

Just to update the ecas status!
The ecas shows:
1.We received your application for permanent residence on February 4, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on October 7, 2013.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

And then 28th I got the request for passport for visa letter. I am going to send my passport on Monday 4 Nov thro' DHL from India.

I believe you can send your passport to Delhi visa office and get it stamped rather sending it all the way to Canada.

Hello everyone i have just registered to this forum with a lot of questions in my head. so i will start with a simple one.

the application processing time for CEC is 12 months however, i am seeing people already receiving medicals and such....
CIC received my application at Sydney on February 28th and i got a confirmation email stating it was sent to a visa Bureau on april 9th.

however when i logon to check my application status, it only shows Application received.

Should i be worrying that i haven't heard anything from them ?
Should i call them to check in ?
i saw people saying they ordered notes as well, what notes ???

please help me lol

There are applications from nov, dec and jan awaiting Mr
A small Group of people were selected for fast track in-process and MR. We don't know why
Don't call CIC, it's a waste of time and you have a way to go before you hit 12 months. Besides, they should update the processing times this week as it's updated each quarter.

If there's anyone who should be worried, its me. Early FEB applicants have gotten MRs, while I have not heard a thing. But like people keep saying, there is nothing you can do. Just be patient and wait. Your turn will come!

This is also why we set up this thread and have a tracker. Before jumping to conclusions and worries, read the posts and check out the tracker. And good luck to all those still waiting. Hopefully we hear something soon!

No, its the last step...it comes after you send your medical.

App received - 1st feb
AOR - 12th March
RPRF - 23rd Oct
MR - 24th oct
Med done - 26th
PPR & Biodata - 4th Nov
