When mailed application - forgot to include mailing labels. CIC have explained that if they need label - they'll call and ask to mail self-addressed envelope
Regarding DOB - provided Birth Certificate and internal passport, both with sertified translations.
Criminal Record Check from Ukraine and Canada were also included
IELTS - February 2, 2013, score 7.5, original was mailed along with other documents.
Rreference letter from employer with description of duties only (no info re: hours and salary)
T4 (2011 and 2012)
Have some concerns about CC (bank changed my CC info without permission, card is valid for 60 days only)

I have posted my application through Canad Post on Feb 21 2013 and i see the status in Canada Post as delivered on Feb 25 2013. How do i know the date when my application is received by CIC ? I have tried the link services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp using my client id number which is on work permit, but i did not get any results.

Could someone please help me in this regards.

If all docs in order, you will have to wait till you get your AOR. After your application goes into the system, you can query using your client ID and see the 'Application Received' status.

I am seeing some posts in this forum where people mentioned about the received date right after they sent the package. Ex: in the above post, someone mentioned, they posted on Feb 21 and they see it is received on Feb 25 2013. How was that possible without getting AOR ? I am just a bit curious. Just want to make sure at least my application is with CIC.

How can i check it ?

Confirmation that your application is received by visa office is your tracking confirmation of delivery. I've sent my application by registered mail with signature in order to be able to track it, so I have date of receipt and signature of the person who has actually accepted delivery.
Visa office confirms receipt of your application only after all your forms and supporting documents are reviewed and payment is processed - you will get letter of acknowledgment of receipt.

You can assume your Application received date as Application delivered date by mail/courier service. You do not get any other confirmation before AOR.

Anybody can suggest on what can I do to get TRF for IELTS from Conestoga College? I have ordered it just week and now it is more than 5 business days but no reply yet. Do they even issue another TRF? I cant go there as I am in another province. Please if anyone could suggest on this, i will appreciate. Thanks
