Yeah My Wife Got her Passport request on March 4-2011 & Sent in to New Delhi the same day. Till today haven't got it Back. Online it Still Says Application Recieved by passport office on Feb 12 hasn't gone to "IN PROCESS"

Is this perfectly Normal or Am I just freaking out too much

I've tried everything to get into ecas without any sucess. I've used receipt number, client number, the file number starting with F. Has this happened to anybody else? Also, does anybody know what KIT ID is? Thanks.

okay now kit id is nothing but the client id.. When you login with your file number..just enter everything as you do all the time but a little different when it comes to your name.. put in your firstname lastname and try it..

Does anyone know if the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi let's you know if they have received your pp or you just rely on the tracking of the pp?

Also, I had called a while back to the Immigration office in Canada asking if it was okay if my spouse came to visit in Canada during the application process. The agent said yes, but he recommended to wait till the perm. resid. app is received by the visa office. But...the visa office asks for the pp right away...so really your spouse can't come and visit b/c you need your pp to apply for a tourist visa...wtf. stupid.

ND does not let you know that they recvd your PP...your tracking number would be your only confirmation.

There is no restriction that you cannot apply for a visito's visa while your PR is in process, but chances are it'll be denied!
ND asks for the PP way more in advance...not usre why...and it could take anywhere from 3 weeks- 5 mnth for you to get the visa.....!!!! but you are right...not only that you cannot apply for a TRV..you can't even travel anywhere....sucks big time!!!

Its probable that they have forwarded your application to the visa office, but you will have to wait for the letter to be sure of this.

WHEN THEY SENT MINE BACK THEY TOLD ME THE DAY THEY RECIEVED IT BACK AND THAT THEY SENT ME A LETTER, ALSO IT SAID DECISION MADE ON ECAS. WHICH MENT THE SENT IT TO NEW DELHI

I sent it on April 4 and they received on April 5
on Ecas its showing decision made
