The first and ONLY ECAS update I saw was telling us we were in process, three days later we had the Visa. Simply meaning don't put too much stock in those updates, I think they are entirely dependent upon the VO and their commitment to putting them in the computer system.

I just want to ask about Landing process. Do we need to show Proof of Fund at landing or not? And is it Ok to land alone if the husband who sponsored you cannot make the move at the same time?

Thanks for any experts' advices!!!

If you applied via family class spousal you will not have to show funds.
Your sponsor does not have to be at the landing.

I just dont understand It.All the people on the Buffalo thread from March on Is getting updates and ppr.But Nov-Feb applicants are at a stand still.

You will never understand it as it is what it is going on in the background, just hang in there and try as hard as it might be to NOT compare your application or timeline to anyone else it will just cause you stress.
 
Calgary, I applied just two weeks before you.. so keep your chin up :)
 
Im happy for everyone that has gotten there ppr or residence already dont get me wrong.Its just stressful watching everyone around you get it and you not here one peep thats all.

We started processing your application on August 8, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


SO now i just have to wait for my passport visa to be delivered.. thank you guys for all the help, and for those who are still waiting, just hold on and keep praying. remember God rewards those who patiently wait.. :D
