FEBRUARY 2011 applicants here!!

Hey guys the Mississauga is working on applications received on January 25, 2011, so that means they be start looking @ our files early next week :D!!

Guys need help - My wife has sent the application on 14th Feb from Vancouver. The post was registered and from online tracking it shows that it was delivered on 15th Feb. How do I track the status of the application?

Hi Svinjam, you wouldn't be able to check your status until your sponsorship thingy is approved, which will basically take 36 days as per cic site, btw some people who submitted there application as of 2011 got approved within 21-27days (but i guess that depends on case by case basis).

This is the link where you can check your application status and goodluck ;) !!

You will not be able to track your status until the sponsor is approved. When that happens, eCAS will go live for the sponsor. After that, if you are applying outland, you wait until you are advised that the file has been received at the visa office handling your application. This is by means of an AOR letter, or, the applicant's eCAS will go active and show "Application Received on xxx date".

hey svinjam ur visa office too is New Delhi.........why don't you also join the "Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010"! You can share yours and see others timeline too :)....in dat way its gonna help us all ;)!!

Hi all,
I'm part of this group.
just sent the package yesterday. DHL tracking already.....am so nervous.
But so relaxed as all that collating, gathering all the docs and the external stuff is all now over!!!

Have to wait to hear............if I'm approved as sponsor.

Ok to give you a brief......
I'm the sponsor living and applying from outside Canada to sponsor my husband (Indian national). We live in Dubai but have opted to chose New Delhi as the visa processing office. New Delhi takes about 6months to process whereas Abu Dhabi takes about 24months!!!

Hope it all works out ok. Wish us luck!!!

Hello guys nice to see this forum..... I just want to ask some querry.. I am working abroad for 5years can i use my BANK ACCOUNT abroad?Because i dont have account in my country... Is that possible? Please advice.. much appreciated your opinion...
