I expect things to move for the Feb batch around second week of April.

Hopefully sooner than April. I'm not sure if the Jan/Feb/Mar period is a high volume for CIC.

Though based from the spreadsheet, it does seem to point to 2nd/3rd week of April, unless some miracles happen

Hi all,

I talked today with CIC call center, I had a question regarding a document I sent in the application that I wanted to update. I can't send anything till an officer is assigned to the file -> AOR...

But I had I useful information, They are presently working on completed applications received before Dec. 1st 2014. The agent told me we should expect receiving an AOR 2 months after the application is received, so Feb. 2015 applicants should have their AOR in Apr. 2015.

2014/2015 Spreadsheet updated. Maybe we should create a specific Spreadsheet for Feb 2015 applicants ??

I am going to send the application tomorrow, wish all of us a smooth process. I have couple of questions...

Do I need to put a cover page showing my name/address/phone# etc. for info?

Is there a difference between Canadapost express, purolator, or fedex in terms of arrival times?

I wonder if the interview following tcitizenship test is mandatory or not?

1) no cover letter needed
2) depends on your location. I checked Canada post regular mail would have taken 3-4 business day ($19) with signature, express 2-3 business days $40. I sent using Purolator reached next day $25.
3) it is necessary I believe it could be short where they just check passport PR card n general question or intensive.
