I had my test in September and haven't heard since, so yeah same boat. The only hopeful thing is CIC have a deadline to finish our applications by end of March

I guess only sour grapes are left in this thread Our timeline is this:

* We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 20, 2015.
* We started processing your application on June 19, 2015.
* Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 25, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

What should I do? My application has been in process since last June. What actions can I take? Can someone please help.

I hope you are well. I read you wrote your test at St Clair's (Toronto). Was the Test invite address marked for 2nd floor Citizenship Officer Quach?
Also there is a red A marked on the test invite. Any idea what that might be?
I have my test on monday so an urgent help would be great.

My application is taking sometime so I searched around and found this forum, congrats to all who got the test and good luck to all who are waiting.

Here is my timeline:

Living in Downtown Toronto.

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 6, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 13, 2015.
We started processing your application on May 5, 2015.
Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 15, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

We're sort of in the same boat. I applied on the 5th January, and my application is still in process. No sign of the test or anything that says my application is non-routine. It won't be too long before I officially complete a year without doing the test. Are you also from Downtown Toronto? There are quite a few people who face the same situation.

I am in a little strange situation at the moment I have my ECAS to decision made since April 2016 and then received letter to appear in a OATH CEREMONY. But one day before the ceremony received a phone call from CIC officer that my application is still in process and the Oath letter was in mistake and it will take more time.

Do you guys have any experience like mine, that they can send letter in error. I called CIC call center and they are telling me it is in background check still and the file is Under non-routine application. I have never received RQ and have already passed test in Oct 2015. I applied in Jan 2015 with 1095 days complete residency.

If it were me, I would have gone to the ceremony anyway with the letter and confirm it was sent in error...then I would ATIP notes right away to know what been happening to the file... CIC agents on phone are not always tell you all you need to know...

Did you get any further indication on what happened to your file?
Have they rescheduled an oath for you as yet?
