Will anyone be able to tell me if there is a similar interview or check of documents for the oath ceremony? Since it does say to bring everything.

Although they ask you to ring everything with you, they do not seem to verify all these docs. They do however ask for IDs and your passport (to check your ID not the stamps), Landing paper, invitation. Then there is the Prohibition form (if you did not sign it during the test).

This is what they usually ask for when you go for the Oath, however to be on the safe side, just get everything with you in case you are asked another paper / document.

Congrats, hopefully for entire process will be completed by March or April 2016.

Applications submitted after Apr 2015 are very lucky and getting their applications processed much quickly.

However, the most unlucky applicants were from batches between Year 2012 - 2014. Most of the applications were made to wait clueless for almost 4 years on one or other pretext and then on some stupid reasons rejected and made to re-apply.

Just received Notice to Appear for test in the mail today. Appointment on Jan 21.
I am a Toronto applicant whose in-process status hasn't changed since Jun. 5
Ecas not yet updated though.

* We started processing your application on June 19, 2015.
* Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 25, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.
* We sent you a notice on January 7, 2016 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 30, 2016 [ ]. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.*Note: Citizenship and Immigration Canada does sometimes schedule events on Saturdays or Sundays.

Just a short update :

We did test on Monday 25th January. On Wednesday I checked ecas and saw that it has changed to Decision Made.

Today, Thursday, we received a letter for Oath ceremony on 11 February.

Thank you all members for posting your experiences and advices which helped a lot.

My wife and I wrote the test on January 23rd. We both passed with perfect score. On 27th the Ecas updated to show that CIC has sent the oath letter, to appear for the ceremony on Feb 11th . Yes the journey is at the final phase now

It's nice to see Toronto applicants getting test invitation, I noticed that in January they started to send test invitations for many (not all) Toronto applicants of January, February, March, April, and May of 2015. Congratulations to those who received the test invite (including me "May applicant") & good luck to those who are still waiting, hopefully you will get invitation for test soon.

Re: Feb 2015 citizenship applicants in BC

Did anyone who sent application in feb 2015, appear for the citizenship test twice and still waiting for oath ceremony ? I sat for my 2nd test in Nov of 2015 which I cleared but still till today 6th Feb 2016 waiting for Oath Ceremony .... anyone else in the same boat ....
I applied in Surrey BC
