Happy to share with you all that we became proud Canadians today. It was a wonderful experience that hopefully very soon you'll all get to experience (if not yet). I wish you all good luck!

I did apply for atip notes last week (week 8 since test) but have not heard back yet.

Applied on Feb 24, 2012 (for myself and my spouse)
Started prcessing May 2012
Received Discover booklet May 2012
RQ sent June/July 2012
Fingerprint request for spouse August 15 2012
Fingerprint request for spouse November 2013
Letter for test sent on Jan 29 2014; received letter on Feb 4 2014; Test on Feb 24 2014
Requested for atip notes on week 8 after test.
Letter for oath sent on April 22, 2014; received letter on April 28; Oath on May 7 2014
Have not heard back with ATIP notes yet.

Now i gotta be a responsible citizen and prepare myself to vote in the coming election!!

today I called to cic and she told me nothing happen with your application and she told me you should waiting for 3 years hahah. I passed the test 6 march 2014 . RQ also . anybody else ?

Of course we will get it! They made a lot of tests during the January, February and March. They need to work on all this files.

Today I received the famous pink letter from scarborough for May 28. It has been a long journey for me and my family, at the end it paid off. I had the test at st clair along with my wife on Feb 20, 2014. Yes both of us were RQ victim as well. So the total journey was 22 months. So guys just be patient.. I hope and pray that all of you will get your desire fulfilled in the coming days.

I guess we are waiting the longest still. My wife still hasnt heard from Saskatoon. Feb 4 and counting.... Another poster here cherrycanada got her oath letter.

I wonder what takes so long and differentiates some people vs others. Good luck to all
