This is interesting. I am thinking I will email this form over and change my address to a friend's, who is based in the US. That way, she can open and scan the results to me first, and relay it using UPS / FedEx which would be much faster than international USPS mail. Jairichi - does this sound like a workable approach and would it give me the results earlier - given your experience / research?

How long is the FBI PCC valid for if you are living in the US ? I heard somewhere it was 6 months and elsewhere 1 year. Just wanted to clear the confusion.

As far as I know 6 months for CIC.

They finished processing March 7th yesterday, and they are opening packages dated March 9th today, while processing March 8th applications.
That, or they have managed to process all of March 8th applications since, and are now processing March 9th applications.

The first explanation sounds likelier to me.

The date when they processed the application. When they received your prints is immaterial to them and their records.

it can take up to 45 days to reach you. I suggest mailing the FBI and confirming the address that they mailed the report to. I also suggest requesting a duplicate one be sent to you on June 6.
