FBI PCC

Our applications (my wife and I) were received by the FBI on 28/12/2015 and completed and mailed out by 4/4/2016 per FBI’s customer services. Unfortunately, we have only received my wife's PCC last Friday (Montreal address) and my application is still on the way. I cannot understand how this could happened if both letters were mailed at the same time. Why do they ship the PCCs in separate envelopes if it is the same application? I am not now worry that something happened with the mail (it has been 9 days since the letter was mailed)

Hi, can anyone have some input on this? Finally my PCC is completed on April 12th and will mail out on 13th to the US address. The deadline that CIC provides is 16th. Not sure if I can get it within three days, I am struggling whether I should upload a LOE to CIC profile now asking for a few days' extension or I should wait till 16th to see if I can get the mail? Please help. Thanks!

I had similar situation. It's better to be safe. Some technical glitches in cic website can prevent you from submitting LOE in last moment. I had my FBI mailed one day before deadline. I asked for extension once I knew prints were accepted. To be safe I asked for 2 weeks which they granted. My FBI reached in 4 days. I suggest that u should ask for 1 week or 10 days extension. They will grant it and u will be at peace.

Raise a CSE if you are not near the end of your first submission period; if you are, then upload a letter of explanation through MyCIC in the field where you were supposed to upload your PCC.

I did CSE but never got answers to those........so close to deadline I uploaded LOE on MYCIC portal. When they gave extension they also created new button there

No timeline- my PCC was dispatched over a month ago for an Indian address, and it's still not here. Luckily it was one where my prints were rejected, but still.
Recommend having it shipped to an American address if that is an option. It's what I am doing with my next one.

Haha. That's good! My app was delivered on 3 Feb. Hope my cc gets charged in 10 days and my prints are accepted!!
