Does anyone know if they started to open Aug yet? They received my application on Aug 31st, my deadline to submit to CIC Nov 30th...

Same boat as u. Mine arrived sep 1 and I have until DEC 1 to submit which I'm pretty sure will require another extension. Let's keep each other posted.

My ITA will expire in the next 25 day, I applied for FBI certificate in September I am going to submit my application with a Letter of Explanation, But my doubt is what will happen after I submit my application? Will they reject it after 25 days or will they give me more time to upload it later on?

Did anyone here submited they application without the FBI certificate and with a Letter of Explanation?

I sent in my app without the FBI document. However, I waited till the last day before submitting rest of the documents. I attached LOE with copy of the courier waytag, copy of the fingerprint card and also the delivery proof.
Fortunately, I received a 60 day extension till Nov 16th. and I got the FBI record in last few days. I guess it depends on the case officer who reviews your application.

They are currently on July End applicants..........

You might get charged only after Nov 16th

1) Scan copy of FBI application form (Signed)
2) Scan copy of Fingerprint ( If needed)
3) Courier Delivery confirmation receipt
4) Explanation letter for the delay( can mention the approximate time for submission)

I had submitted 15 days after getting ITA ..

I submitted late to allow as much time as possible for FBI report to arrive & to avoid asking for extension later on. It simply was my choice of action. It is upto you how you want to proceed.

Quick question here: I have the impression that many has submit the FBI PCC thru Case Specific Inquires. However, I was requested by the CIC to submit these documents before 15th of Dec. When I log in and clicked on my application, I saw two buttons for uploading requested documents. So it was pretty straightforward as I just scanned and uploaded. I guess I was done here? Does anyone have similar experience? Is this all I have to do? No need to send Case Specific Inquires, right?

Yes , that's all you have to do. Some people get the FBI report before cic asks via upload window, so they used to use cse.
One question, why there was two upload windows , did you request report for your dependent too....?

My wife's fingerprints reached them on 1st August. On Monday (26th October) they said that it is in the final stages of processing. I am assuming this means they have started opening August batch.
