They are crystal clear in the guidelines when they state their requirements for background checks. FBI is sufficient for those who lived in USA. If they decide to start requiring state PCC from all applicants...man, I dont want to even think about. How about thousand others who got their visa without state PCC?

I applyed for 2 person's report but I received only one of them. It usually takes 2 weeks for mail to reach my country.
After 3 weeks from the mail date of the other report, I contact FBI for not receiving my report and they decided to send me a second one.
This time I used my relative's US address as forum members suggested. FBI said they sent my 2nd report on 3 Feb 2015. So, hope it arrive safely this time!

I have a query for which i didt get response in main thread.(Sorry for posting here... but this group can give some advise )

I traveled to U.S after submission of FSW application from india and planning to stay for longer period.My family is also expected to join with me in U.S by next month.

Once i Submit FBI PCC this month end. I expect PPR would come around May/June (from NDVO) .

Is it possible to get the stamping done in U.S itself ? What should be done for this.

my VO is Singapore too. can you share what day that your document is recieved by FBI and what is your current status right now?

mine is 22 oct and still waiting for the result so i am just wondering how many of us whose VO is Singapore are falling into the same boat ..

Hi Brother, mine is WAY behind you, it was received by FBI on Nov 25, so far I have got no update yet, not CC charged, nothing... I am desperately waiting for my CC to be charged (yes once AGAIN). I hope you will receive your report very soon.

Submit rest of the documents. Once you get the FBI PCC submit that with a cover letter.

Anyone has called FBI recently, what is the latest app received date they are processing. My courier reached on Dec 8th, any guess when I should be getting the report?

I am an Indian in the US. It is not allowed for us to send our passports out the country i.e. to CPC-O. So I requested them to print my visa in the US. They responded after 22 days i.e. the Los Angeles consulate contacted me to send them my passport.

So yes once you get PPR, request that the visa be printed in the US. This may delay be process by a month, but that's not too bad. (Also, I am not sure if you need to inform the VO that you have moved to the US. Please look into this.)

Took them 10 days to mail from US to Canada
