I just called FBI and they are processing 4th of April.

And they are opening 19th April. Also they mentioned that it doesn't necessarily mean all apps dated 19th April will be charged on CC today, but will be charged soon. As someone else mentioned earlier on the thread, its a process pipeline.

Guys does CIC continue the criminal check portion of the process while they wait on the FBI PCC or do they put everything on hold until they receive the FBI PCC?

I dnt thnk.thy ll.put evrythng on hold.
But bg chk wil b on hold til u submit ur pcc.
For us, v got our rprf request on june 7th 2016..i.e evn before v received out fbi pcc

Just called. Still opening 19th and processing 4th. May be someone can try towards the end of day - unfortunately I am 12 hours ahead of eastern time ;D? Would be keen to know if they make a transition to the next day before COB....

10 weeks ago I send documents (April 20) and the Cic Canada can expect only until August 8. I would like to be sure that I will not be the limit of time. Suggesting do?

Two Questions:
* What is a reasonable time after ITA to let CIC know that FBI is taking forever and ask for an extension ?
* Supposing you already have a PCC request in flight; does it make sense to send a new PCC request immediately after ITA? (The potential benefit being able to use the new PCC request in order to get a longer extension from CIC)
