For the FBI PC we are required to provide them a prepaid, self addressed envelope with our application, so they can mail the certificate back to us in the same envelope. If you want to save few days on the return mail, you can provide a prepaid, self addressed FedEx envelope, so they can use it to send your certificate back. In your package that contains your finger prints, money order, and request letter, just enclose a prepaid FedEx envelope so they can use it to send your PC back.

thnx Kumar0919 for the information ... but i asked in FedEx, UPS and DHL but the prepaid service in Egypt. i found another soultion which will be sending the result to a friend of mine inside USA and he will send it to me by courrier.

Dear HCanadina
Well for your info i had to work hard to find out the place. Called the FIA in islamabad they are providing this service. Then after asking a lot of people i found an office in lahore which is providing the same services.
Basically its the same FIA fingerprinting branch and they can do it for you. Well this office is located in IG office probably on 3rd floor.

If you are in lahore then go to that IG office (its next to the FBR building on the back of Old Anarkali). Let me make it simple if you follow the road adjacent to NCA and keep moving n that you shall come across the IG office (FBR office is also there). Show your ID card on the reception and you shall be given a V card. Ask someone for finger printing branch, Go there meet anyone in the room they shall tell you the procedure.

There is a fee of 1000 Rps to be submitted in State Bank, then 3 attested fotos, copy of passport, printed FBI Fingerprinting card the blue one on their site and a pain in the A.. thing a police character certificate (If you are from Lahore then get this certificate first). This was the only thing that appeared to me a big problem.

** As far the printing of the FBI card is concerned i took couple of print outs on say 90 Grams paper. There is no need for printing on a card. Just print it on atleast 90 grams paper and in color i.e. blue and make 4 5 prints because i had to use 3 printouts to get a final one.

IMPORTANT:
The third place from where you could get your finger prints i.e. Rolled on finger prints done is the one i cam eto know when i visited my police station. There a Chilar told me to go to Civil courts. There is a section where criminals are brought to be trialed in the courts. There is a place called BAKHSHI KHANA. A person is sitting there who does this Finger printing job not for common people like us but for Criminal trials and courts and property related cases.

What i did i went there with the fingerprints printout and asked him whether he can do it for me. These guys are specialists and are present in every tehsil and they are trained in the same Lahore IG office branch.

He said that we do it officialy only. I said why dont you do it for me privately i shall pay you. The deal was done on 1000 rps.

One more thing here THese departments also have Cards just like the FBI cards the only difference is its not in blue but most of the information is the same as on FBI card.

Any ways what i suggest is take 4 5 printouts with you make a deal and then get the prints first on the paper print out that you have taken with you. If they seem ok then make a couple of the official card of Govt of Pak. Then get two more made on the papers you have taken. When you are pretty sure that these seem ok. Then Ask him to sign and stamp it and write his name as well and designation.

Tell him that you use it for abroad and no one shall contact him directly as they are afraid,. Teh proper channel is submittig fee in the bank etc. I think you understand. This way he shall sign it stamp it etc.

Mine was stamped with a stamp stating Fingerprinting Bureau.

I thinks its too much and hope it shall help,

Very Important:

Befroe you send out your application punch all the 5 6 print outs on which you have got your finger prints done and use also the two provided by that guy i mean the official ones. This way FBI shall not have any doubt and if one print is not clear on one card they can use from other card. I did the same and you shall find it wrtten on their website as well that you should send multiple fingerprints so that if one finger print is not good on one may be it is good enough on other.

For that i said make 5 6 print out after all you are paying him 1000 rps.
Hopefully this shall help

Regards

Same here, I got my US FBI Clearance today.

I submitted my fingerprints + forms + US bank draft to US FBI CJIS via Fedex on 8 March 2010, and I received the US FBI Clearance today, 3 May 2010, via Fedex.

What I did was I opened a Fedex Account, so when I applied for the US FBI Clearance, I sent them a Fedex envelope with my Fedex account number.

Hopefully, the others who submitted at around the same time should get theirs soon. :)

The FBI send me an email saying they sent my documents via first class mail on April 21. I still did not receive it yet. I am not sure it should take this long. I wonder how long for mail to reach UAE. The address I gave was my agent's.

Hi,
I am experiencing a similar situation to yours. FBI sent me an email saying that they posted my certificate three weeks ago and I did not receive mine yet. They also told me that If I didn ' t get the letter in three weeks, they will re-send me certificate. so I think you may contact FBI and have them post your your record again.

Congrats Ankit. Apply soon and get the shining visa.
