FBI Clearance in US

My papers reached FBI 16th feb and this is the second time I have sent fingerprints and my fee was already processed earlier ... still they just have one answer for me
i.e "Under Process"

and ya! I do have SSN !

Mine was received on Feb 8th, last week when I mailed they said the don't have my data.....I also did the FP by FP foresic experts and paid by Draft.....crossing fingers and waiting.....

I sent mine and DHL told me it was received by FBI on Feb 22. Still no answer. I guess its random timing. Thats what I see on these posts by members here. I gave them my agents address as a return address.

Good news and not good news from me

My request was received by FBI on Feb 8th and today received the FBI Certificate. For me it issued and for my wife they have said that the quality of the finger print is not good.... I have to resend now.

My Question is, do I need to resend as fresh application and take another 18$ DD or just resend the FP card alone ? Seniors pls help.

No we sent ours a second time without second fee. They did not ask for it and so we simply sent the new prints.

Got my FBI letter yesterday.Sent request on 6th Jan and got it on 6th April.........wat a coincidence..........complete 3 months......anyway am happy now

I received my FBI clearance today. Request was received at the FBI office on 02.22.10, so total processing time was close to 7 weeks. FBI has clearly picked up pace. I have a SSN, I paid by money order, I did my finger prints with an agency, and I sent it by USPS express mail.

Ok i did everything same as the guy above did .. but didn't received it yet..

P.S. - I talked to Customer care today ... they said its ready and will be mailed out next thusday ;D

Finally! got it yesterday...

app sent on 16th Nov 2009 ..

requested fingerprints again on 23rd Jan 2010
Sent on 12 th feb.. received by fbi on 16th feb

Got the report yesterday dated 8th April

It does look like they are processing in 6-8 weeks nowadays though.
