does anybody who applies through EE program has to do an ECA or are there certain degrees from certain countries (e.g., US) that don't have to go through this process? i guess the answer is 'everybody has to do an ECA' but i just wanted to confirm that.

Everybody who did their education out of Canada. No exceptions period.

1. Do I need to send transcripts for 10th class and 12th class as well along with my graduation or only 12th class and graduation would suffice?
2.WES is charging nearly 80$ to send evaluation report, do we need original report (hard copy) or a soft copy will suffice for filing expression of interest?

1. You dont need to send 10th or 12th ms. Only grads ms and transcripts are required if you are graduate and above.
2. Soft copy is what is required but you might be asked to produce hard copy or a scanned copy of hard copy.

Hi Aspirants,

Please help me out with this dilemma...

I have total work ex of 4 years (NOC 6221, 7 months, Company A.... NOC 6231, 23 months, Company B... NOC 6221 again, 18 months, Company C) in India, all continuous.

I want to know, can I show all of this as a total work ex of four years...??.. Because, I read somewhere that all work ex should be in the same NOC... I have it in 2 NOCs.

So, for how many years am I gonna get credit for while making EE profile, how would this effect my CRS score, transferability, etc. .....??

Would appreciate any guidance please..

Experts please help here for WES documents,

For WES education documents verification. Do we need to send a transcript or attested photocopies of the marksheet by controller of examination in a sealed envelope?

Also, this transcript or attested marksheet by controller of examination can be send by us to WES in a university sealed envelope or university has to directly send them?

I just got my wife's passport renewed, when I went to update the information in the profile, I did not find any space where her Passport information were mentioned, as far as I remember, it was there before, can anyone update if spouse information has passport number also? and if yes, exactly in which section?

3.In work experience section, what do we need to enter in number of hours for each job? How do we calculate number of hours? In my reference letters, number of hours is not given instead employers have written he was a full time employee.

Can anyone please tell me that while creating express entry profile what should be selected in the 'field of study' option? I have done Bachelors of technology in Computer Science and Technology. The closest option I can see is Computing/Information Technology.

Everything after 12th. i.e. B.Sc. M.Sc and so on

I got my ECA report from WES mentioned that

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Two Bachelor's degrees (Four years)

Credential: Bachelor of Science Canadian Equivalency : Bachelor's Degree (4 Years)
Credential: Master of Business Administration Canadian Equivalency : Bachelor's Degree (4 Years)

Now in express entry i have following two choices:-

1) Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute (112 points)

2) Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years (119 points)

I am confused which choice should I select. Please help.
