Hello Guys

Could you please help me with a query......... .

Thanks
Punam

Hi Punam

It's after long time I am seeing your post!! I thought that you have already applied for the PR. Anyways....
IMHO, there won't be any problem.... but it is always better to submit the application with the required documents as close as possible. We too have to work slightly hard to come up to their required standard. Still, in case if there is a very strong reason for not having any particular document .... mention the same ... explain it. CIO does understand people's problem. Rest you are the better judge and have to decide. All the Best.

Cheers, Anil

Thanks a lot Anil for your advice .......... yeahh I have not been active in the forum because I was travelling ... I agree with your advice but the thing is back in India if the Hr manager has changed than it get svery difficult to obtain any document and following up for letter staying in different country is taking my peace. But I am working on gettin all the documents ready especially my most recent experience letters, rest lets hope for the best.

Thanks again.
Cheers

Hello guys..
I filling my application for Quebec and I need your help about the education.
Here in Greece I went to a Technical High school as a computer-programmer.
I finish my 12th grade and then I decide to become a plumber.
So I went to another Technical High school for 2 years and I got my plumbing diploma.
Total 14 years of education.
Since then (13years) I'm working as a plumber and 5 years ago I'm self employed.
Witch education level should I write to Visa office?
Thanks

Welcome Bro

As far as I understand ... you will qualify for 20 points on the basis of - "A two year diploma, trade certificate or app. AND at least 14 years of full time or full time eq. studies". Elementary will be 9, Secondary will be 3, University None and Trade school will be 2.
Can you get the reference letters (include appreciation letters from big companies, if possible) prior to 5 years??
You may also have to prove your self employment ....by providing Income Tax statement.

Hope this helped you ........ All the best dear friend.

Cheers, Anil

thanks for your responce Anil
What should I choose here?
Less than 10 years of full-time education
General high school diploma (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 11 years of full-time education)
Professional high school diploma (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 10 to 12 years of full-time education)
General post-secondary diploma - 1 year (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 11 to 12 years of full-time education)
General post-secondary diploma - 2 years (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 13 years of full-time education)
Technical post-secondary diploma - 1 year (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 12 years of full-time education)
Technical post-secondary diploma - 2 years (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 13 years of full-time education)

I can get reference letter from big company..Any ideas what it supposed to be written on this letter?

thanks a lot for your help

Kindly advise me what to do in the scenario stated below.
“ I completed all of my documents to apply for FSW program under the category 1122 but as soon as I received my IELTs result on 3rd Dec, I found that category closed. My total score is 76 including IELTs score and I have done my Engineering in Metallurgy and have 4 year experience in an Automobile industry as a Quality Engineer“

1) look for another job on the list that might fit your work experience.
2) look for jobs in Canada.
3) look at provincial immigration or Quebec skilled worker
4) next year might be your chance.

Hello Seniors,

My brother-in-law has got PR in Feb 2010 and about to land in Feb 2011(first time) because of his job with Central Govt in India, my question on behalf of him is:

As he is govermnet employee and he has to undergone many formalities to leave that job, His wife is main applicant for PR, in this case he wants to know that if his wife and kid (only two of them not my bro-in-law) come Canada for stamping and PR card and he will come later after Feb 2011, is it possible to do that? the one time visa for all three will expired in March 2011.

He is in great need of guidance for his situation.

Waiting for reply soon.

Thanks,
Lawrecnce

I think it is ok for the main applicant to go first before the rest of the family BUT everyone must eventually enter within the time frame that is given on the immigration visa. For your brother in law it should be in Feb 2011. BTW, how did he get Feb 2011 when he must have done medicals before Feb 2010. When did your brother in law do medicals?

Dear Maaties ,

As i am planning to apply under 3131 .

I have done Diploma in Pharmacy , but i found NOC that employement requirement : Bachelor in Pharmacy is required.

Do you think that boz of this i am not eligible to apply under 3131 ? Boz to be a pharmacist in Canada one must have Bachelor ?

Please help to clear it.

Awating your reply.

Regards,

Mayank

They all cleared medical in early feb2010, and as you say, he has to come to Canada before the one time vise gets expiered with his family, right?

Thanks Maaties.
