Re: Original Police clearance Certificate and IELTS results

Yes, now we need just to send our results of IELTS just to CIO, and Police Certificate just to Country Visa Office.

Dear All,

I hope you have gone through OAG audit House of Commons Committees .

I found certain points from which i expact Backlog clearance path by CIC will be clear in near future.

(1)Citizenship and Immigration Canada identify specific objectives by 30 September 2010 for

the next ministerial instructions issued under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

So there will new ministerial instructions by end of 30 Sept. I also found on other forum that CHC london replied to applicant to wait for theire decision becoz they are going to get new ministerial instructions .

(2) Since key provisions of the departments’ action plans are not scheduled to be implemented until December 2010 at the earliest.

So i belives that strong processing will be seen by the end of Dec. 2010 .

(3) RECOMMENDATION 4

That Citizenship and Immigration Canada provide to the Public Accounts Committee by 31 January 2011 its roadmap on the future of the immigration program.

So we can expact that we will get clear road map by the end of 2010.

(4) the implementation of GCMS internationally is scheduled to begin in June 2010, almost 10 years after the initial launch of the project. According to the OAG, as a result of the delays in implementing the system, employees in offices abroad are still burdened by paperwork and spend a great deal of time on clerical tasks.

During the Committee meeting, the Deputy Minister of CIC indicated that there is a “great expectation” for GCMS to allow CIC to manage its caseload more efficiently by making it possible for immigration cases to be processed from any office around the world using a single system.

so GCMS immplementation will help fast the processing of application .

Please share your thoughs.

Mayank

Help needed !! :(
My file was received to CIO Canada on 10-06-2010 & cheques was cashed on 27-08-2010 as per bank records, but haven't received any acknowledgement letter so far, neither an e-mail/spam.
What should i do ? Have to wait more or ask CIO about my status.
From where i can enquire about my status ?
CIO send AOR by normal post or registered ?

Shall be thankful for ur reply

Raj

Persons having sent the application in the first week of MAY have started receiving the AOR's there was a gap of almost 40 days when no AOR's were released. don't worry if your cheque was encashed than most probably you would be receiving your AOR soon.
The AOR is sent by e-mail and not normal post.

Hope this helps you.

If you are applying under the skilled worker program, the most important thing is to have an occupation on the most wanted list or to have a job offer because without one of these, you will absolutely not qualify. Then it is the points system. For spouses education, you can get 3 to 5 points. If you have enough points without counting your spouses education, then it does not matter.

Dear Mk Shah,

Thanks for reply. It is projected that they might be going to change some process to clear backlog. Also i want to let you know that there is also other forum where one applicant from Jamica also post that after 21 Oct. there will be real movement. If you find from all post you will find that there is no Fast movement from CIC & CHC till now in Fast track also.

Please keep post... your views.

Thanks
Mayank

Ok..
So, they are going to change the process and not the NOC list...
Because they have excluded many NOC from previous list and It seems like NOC 1122 is becoming mother of all those who are not finding any other NOC to submit their application..

Also, they may include NOC related finance professions as it is posted somewhere on the website of CIC, that there is a scarcity of finance professionals in Canada.
