I dont have a birth certificate... I want to know what other document can be considered for DOB.. In India majority of people do not have Birth certificate..

a lot of NOV applicant (VO: london) are in RBVO stage. you need to wait and keep praying :(

this is the letter i received from CIO
Please Note:
We do not accept passports as proof of birth,therefore we r unable to accept birth details taken from passports. If u r not able toprovide a birth certificate please include an affidavit stating that a birth certificate cannot be obtained. Please also include the reason why the birth certificate is unobtainable. if u are using an affidavit in place of a birth certificate ur affidavit should also contain name of client dob for the client parent's name.

RBVO means: Received by VIsa office
you will get this status on your ecas

2nd AOR: it's an acknowledgement of receipt of your docs sent by SGVO by post. you will get it once your ecas starts showing RBVO
