Family Sponsorship

I am a permanent resident of Canada. I have applied for the family sponsorship. We were blessed with a baby girl on 2015 December. I have already submitted all the details including the medical and police clearance certificate for my wife. My concern is that to take the passport for my child I need to add the spouse name in my wife's passport. So my questions are
1) If the passport of my wife is reissued will it affect the application process?
2) Is it necessary to take the medical and Police clearance again for my wife.
3) What all documents should I resend?

Any one please help.

1. You would need to send CIC a copy of her new passport to update them on the name change.

2. No.

3. A copy of the passport. If CIC wants any other information, they will request it.
