I have a question regarding the filling of the form...

( Family Sponsorship Form IMM0008 Question # 3 in Application Details )

Having said this, I am a citizen since 2007, married in 2011, I have a son, (my son has a passport, and has a proof of citizenship certificate),

so now my question is that,

How many Family Members, Including you, are in this application(see instructions guide)?

how many should I write 1 or 2, as my son is not a dependent in CIC definition, because he s a citizen of Canada. so again what should I

write, in my opinion it should be 1, but as one of my friend who is also in this situation said it should be 2.. an advice is highly appreciated..

how do I know how many persons am sponsoring? am definitely sponsoring my wife.. but I have a son (from my wife whom I am sponsoring..) my son is a citizen, so can I sponsor my son as well? and include him in the total?

Well the only persons that you have to include are the dependants which they dont have canadian PR and you are sponsoring them.

Thanks Valmiri.. I am cleared now.. "a person who has no PR" as my son has a citizenship of Canada he wont be included and in that situation I have to put 1 in the above said question..

Im sponsoring my husband and i only put 1 on that section.
But is your son living with you ? And where is your wife currently?

I tried to live in Canada even after my marriage.. but there is no one who can keep my wife.. then we had a son, we all are now living outside Canada.. I can't leave them alone. my wife and son never been to Canada..

But how did your son get a canadian passport if he has never been to canada ?

see, if a parent is a Canadian, then his/her child can get a passport even without a proof of citizenship certificate.. but that passport can only be a limited one that is only for two years. I was suppose to take my family on a visit visa to show my wife that Canada is a beautiful country she should have a visit so that she can decide for living there forever.. but we were unlucky and her visit visa was rejected.. I thought if she gets the visit visa two things I can achieve, one she will see the beauty of Canada and second I can apply her Inland sponsorship..(I have no one who can look after my family in my native country.. long story) anyways.. that's how my son got his passport.

Aha Ok what i would suggest is that to make sure call Cic and tell one of the agents that you are experiencing some difficulties with that section, its always better to hear what they say.

Thanks for your advice, but am not able to call cic from outside Canada, cic is not giving any service outside Canada.. anyways thanks again.. lets see if someone can help, otherwise I had to submit my file and will add only 1.. I know one thing for sure, by putting 1 my wife will sure be in that whom i am sponsoring, while my son has his all documents so no one can stop him from entering in Canada.. that's for sure....

Aww I know but at least you guys are together.And hopefully God help you to come to Canada.
Im having a hard time here without my husband life is hard wothout the lived ones.. today Im going to try and call Cic IF I can bcz I work 9 hours a day.
